The UCI Sustainability Committee Meeting takes place once per quarter. The role of the Committee is to facilitate integration and incorporation of sustainability into operations, educational programs, research, and outreach activities on our campus. Committee members are staff, faculty, and students.

This is a great opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to share updates on sustainability efforts and initiatives, as well as identify potential areas of opportunity for support and collaboration with one another. The meetings are comprised of project updates and presentations. Student representatives are welcomed to give brief 3-10 minute presentations about any exciting club updates or projects. If you’d like to give a brief presentation at an upcoming meeting, please be sure to let Carrie Metztgar (cmetzgar@uci.edu)  know about 10 days in advance so it can be placed on the agenda.

The purpose of the UCI Sustainability Committee is to promote environmental stewardship, sustainable development, and greenhouse gas emission reductions at the University of California, Irvine.
