Gregor Yanega

Academic Coordinator, Salton Sea Initiative

Yanega is the Academic Coordinator of the Salton Sea Initiative. In addition to pursuing a sustainable future for the Salton Sea region, Yanega is broadly interested in transdisciplinary collaborations, the role of creativity in education, and citizen science. He is an academically trained ornithologist and functional morphologist, and is interested in the interaction between structure, function, and behavior in the evolution of avian feeding.
