Katie Hoffman

Katie HoffmanKatie Hoffman is one of two program managers at the Global Sustainability Resource Center. She is a Los Angeles native and graduate from UC Berkeley, where she studied how the interaction between finance, law, and community organizing shapes climate science and policy.

As a student at Berkeley, Katie co-founded the Student Environmental Resource Center and Cal Students for Sustainable Investment, now known as Fossil Free UC. She also worked as a UC system-wide coordinator for the California Student Sustainability Coalition before graduating and working with the organization as a campaign director over the last year. Katie is passionate about community organizing and is excited to work with the UC Irvine community to support students in realizing their potential to catalyze great change in sustainability at the local and global levels.
