Join us in Garden Grove as UCI Community Resilience and OCEJ (Orange County Environmental Justice) launch Let’s Talk EJ, a new series aimed at building and strengthening a local learning community regarding environmental justice. The series will invite and create space for stories about environment, nature, and justice in the ancestral territory of the Tongva and Acjachemen Nations, now known as Orange County. At the June 7 event, panelists will include representatives from local Native Nations and people of color-led environmental justice organizations in Orange County. Panelists will discuss historic and contemporary Indigenous and environmental justice activism in southern California. We welcome you to join us in exploring the past, present, and future of EJ in this region.
Wed June 7 | 6-8pm
