Join OCSCB on Sunday, February 3rd to plant willow cuttings, weed riparian habitat of invasive species and water natives. We will be helping Project Grow restore riparian habitat in the Newport Back Bay. FREE LUNCH will be provided to all volunteers who RSVP (at “tickets” link), we will also provide water to all volunteers but we ask you please bring your own bottle or container to drink from to reduce paper and plastic waste from cups.
This volunteer opportunity is an excellent way to get involved with local conservation! Be sure to wear long pants and outdoor-appropriate footwear. Gloves and other equipment are provided on site.
Parking is free at the Back Bay Science Center, and if you are interested in hosting a carpool please let us know!
