The Campus as a Living Lab workshop series is designed to help students, staff, faculty, and community members build sustainable living skills in the areas of growing, preparing, and producing food through hands-on-experiences and learning journeys.

This workshop explores building and maintaining a garden, learning about soil types, soil ph, fermentation nutrients and fertility management as well as more in-depth training in the seed-to-plate approach to sustainable food systems and cultures.

The new garden site is located along Anteater Drive between Palo Verde Road and Anteater Dr. There are 99 garden plots, each measuring 12 feet by 16 feet. There are eleven rows of gardens with four-foot pathways between the rows and a 24-foot center walkway. Click here for an approximate layout of the garden.
