On March 5th from 4:30pm-8pm, join UCI Hospitality & Dining at The Anteatery for Wiping Out Waste! See how much food is wasted and learn how you can reduce your carbon footprint. During Fall quarter, an average of 1.52 ounces of food was wasted per guest. It may not sound like a lot but 1.52 ounces of food is equivalent to 96,727 meals wasted in one year! Let’s try to reduce our waste to 1 ounce this quarter!
