The California Higher Education Sustainability Conference (CHESC) highlights cutting-edge research, as well as case studies with proven successes in curriculum development, operational programs, and community partnerships.

The Global Sustainability Resource Center will coordinate a carpool for UC Irvine students attending the conference. Please contact sustainability-center@uci.edu for more information.
Additional Funding Available
The Global Sustainability Resource Center has funds available to support students who would like to attend CHESC, but may not be able to due to financial need.
Funding options include:
- Funds for carpool
- Registration costs
- CHESC housing costs
Prior to applying for assistance through the Global Sustainability Resource Center, please fill out the CHESC scholarship application — available here.
Students who have received a partial or full CHESC scholarship may apply for supplemental funding to cover transportation and housing expenses. Students who applied for CHESC funding, but were not allocated registration fees may apply to cover registration, carpool, and/or housing fees.
*Please note that applying for GSRC funding does not guarantee success and that any financial commitment made by students prior to receiving award notification from the GSRC is done without guarantee of reimbursement.
