Nicole Cuevas

Student Assistant, Global Sustainability Resource Center

Nicole Cuevas is the Student Assistant at the UCI Global Sustainability Resource Center. Nicky is an incoming second year student pursuing a major in Urban Studies with a minor in Global Sustainability. Through GSRC, Nicky helped facilitate the 2013 Youth Leading the World congress, which aimed to move students from passion and interest to action and involvement on sustainability issues. Nicky is a member of Theta Psi, UCI’s co-ed professional sustainability fraternity and the Team Orange ‘Water Workgroup’ for the 2015 Solar Decathlon. During Spring 2014, she was also selected as a Hazards Scholar for the NSF-funded FloodRISE project and is presently a GSRC Climate Justice Fellow.
