Pulling U.S. out of Paris accord a terrible decision

The scientific evidence is overwhelming that greenhouse gas emissions from consumption of fossil fuels endanger the planet and that urgent action is needed. In the Paris accords, 195 nations finally committed to reducing carbon emissions, but now the United States, the richest and most powerful nation, is turning its back on its commitment and on the rest of the world.
