The People’s Kitchen: Dine for a Cause
The People’s Kitchen is a community restaurant that couples political education and social movement building with a local, organic meal prepared by participants, community members, and chef Roger Feely.
Date: Friday, November 20, 2015
Time: Part 1 — 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. — Cooking workshop
Part 2 — 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. — Dine with Café Encuentro
Location: Anteater Recreation Center (directions)
Special Guest: Saqib Keval, The People’s Kitchen, Oakland, California (see video)Saqib Keval is no longer able to attend. Chef Roger will lead the cooking demonstration.
