Sustainability Courses
Sustainability courses are defined as either “sustainability-focused” or “sustainability-inclusive” in accordance with the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)’s definitions for the benchmarking tool STARS. UCI hosts over 1,000 sustainability courses for both undergraduate and graduate students with approximately 96% of academic departments offering at least one.
