Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion

UCI sustainability initiatives are committed to ensuring programs are diverse in staff, and representative and inclusive of the communities who are engaged in these programs and equitable in their outcomes. We will ensure collaborative and inclusive processes where sustainability work is driven by the contributions of diverse voices and perspectives centered in equity drive sustainability work at UCI (UCOP Policy).

The burden of poor human health and environmental disasters disproportionately impact communities of color and low-income communities. UCI strives to minimize and address disproportionate impacts in sustainability programs.
