Sora Han, associate professor of criminology, law and society, joins scholars, lawyers and activists for a discussion on issues raised by “American Monument,” the exhibit by lauren woods that examines racial bias and police brutality.

Working inside the monument’s installation at the Beall Center, a chain of sessions will tackle topics such as sound and the law, case law and the Fourth Amendment, linguistics in relation to racial bias in the legal system, and community activist response. The marathon is co-sponsored by UCI Law’s Center on Law, Equality, And Race (CLEAR).
