California Coastal Commission are mobilizing people all along the California coast to clean up and document debris that was washed away from Japan during the March 2011 tsunami. City of Newport hopes you’ll join this month and #optoutside for our cleanup at Big Canyon Parking Lot in Upper Newport Bay on Saturday, November 26. To reach this location, travel northwest on San Joaquin Hills Road, turning right onto Back Bay Drive. Travel about 0.5 mile and a parking lot will be on the left. Waiver required- found on California Coastal Commission website.
