Have you ever wondered what you can do in your capacity as a professor to confront climate change and promote sustainability in your courses?

On November 4, the UC Irvine Sustainability Initiative will host a Faculty Networking Event where your colleagues from across UCI will present newly developed course materials aimed at teaching climate change and sustainability for students in the arts, business, social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences. This event is brought to you as part of the UC Systemwide Carbon Neutrality Initiative. Through this initiative, twenty faculty from each UC campus have undergone training to infuse climate change and sustainability into existing courses. UCI faculty participants will be showcasing their materials during the Networking Event.

Attendees will learn about ways to incorporate climate change and sustainability into courses in their own disciplines. There will be plenty of time for networking, discussion, and idea-sharing.

Appetizers and beverages will be served.

Please RSVP at the website listed below.

We hope to see you there!
