Mystical Mushrooms
Join OC Parks Naturalists for a magical mushroom adventure! We’ll search for fascinating mushrooms in their natural habitat, observe their unique shapes and colors, and capture our discoveries in a nature journal. To wrap up, you’ll get to create your very own clay mushroom to take home as a keepsake from the day. Perfect for nature lovers and budding artists alike! This program will involve hiking about 1.5 miles on rocky terrain.
Age: 7 or older. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Advanced registration required. Every individual, including children, must be registered.
Parking: $3/car at Willow Staging Area parking lot. Parking is limited, carpooling is encouraged.
Difficulty Rating: 2/5
Materials: Participants must bring plenty of water, closed-toed shoes, and sun protection.
