The 2014 UCUES and UCI Student Affairs Food Survey Results indicate that a significant amount of UC and UCI students have experienced food security. This Town Hall is for the UCI Community to come together to discuss the issue of food insecurity on our campus. We will explain our current food access and security model, create a space for feedback and suggestions, and provide opportunities to join these efforts.

Student food access and security has been a growing concern on college campuses across the nation. In the state of California, the high cost of living and the rise of college tuition and fees has made student access to affordable and healthy food an urgent concern.
