Certified Amigos Volunteer Naturalists teach students and adults about the history, ecology, birds and all the other amazing facts of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Starts January 18th, 2024 at 7:00PM at the Bolsa Chica State Beach Visitor Center. The cost of the class is $100 which includes membership, Naturalist Training Manual, personal photo binder and certification as an Amigos de Bolsa Chica Naturalist upon completion. Scholarships are available upon registration. Training will consist of an in-person Introduction session, zoom discussion sessions, google classroom “on-your-own” videos and quizzes, and in-person tours of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve with experience leaders. The Training Introduction and Zoom sessions will be held Thursdays between January 18th and March 21.
