UCI Hospitality & Dining holds quarterly Wiping Out Waste events at The Anteatery and Pippin Commons, which serve to educate students about how much food waste is produced daily and how we can all take individual steps to reduce our impact. All food waste from UCI Hospitality & Dining’s dining commons – The Anteatery, Pippin, and Brandywine – is anaerobically digested, producing energy for local water and sanitation districts.
