Tree Campus USA & Bee Campus USA

UCI became a recognized Tree Campus USA in 2010. UCI is known for its naturescape and the beautiful urban forestry that is integral to its identity. The urban forestry initiatives and sustainable landscaping are thanks to the outstanding Green and Gold Plan.

UCI became a recognized Bee Campus USA in 2021. Thanks to UCI’s great planning and grounds operations, we host many pollinator friendly habitats. UCI students recognized the importance of these spaces by advocating for this certification.

Thanks to these efforts, UCI is leading the way for beautiful and sustainable landscaping.
