Environmental Graphiti, created by artist Alisa Singer, uses contemporary art as a vehicle to encourage widespread understanding of the compelling science of climate change. Her artwork is featured on each floor of the new Mesa Court Towers and uses abstract images illustrating the science behind the critical changes impacting our planet. The actual blueprint for each of the digital paintings in the series is a chart, graph, word, number or symbol representative of a key fact about climate change. The art is organized into three key themes: WHY is our climate changing? HOW is climate change affecting our world? and WHAT can we do to address climate change? The collection is a visual and educational compliment to the robust energy efficiency and green building elements of the Towers.
