Campus Planning & Sustainability
CP&S plans the use and physical character of campus land and its overall environment in support of UCI’s strategic plan. Provide planning analysis and consultation to campus administration through the Division of Finance & Administration. Planning services to all campus units involved in physical development projects.
Transportation & Distribution Services
Transportation & Distribution Services offers many sustainable commuting options and has UCI Sustainable Transportation. Primary goal is to reduce the total number of vehicle trips made to campus by faculty, staff, and students.
Procurement Services
Procurement Services partners with UCI constituents and suppliers to provide collaborative, innovative, and leading best practices. Procurement Services is held to the UC Sustainable Practices Policy.
UCI Nature
UCI Nature manages the ecological preserves and reserve areas managed by UCI. They also provide faculty and students opportunities to bring their research, scholarship, teaching, public service, and other opportunities out into the natural environment in a wide diversity of settings.
Facilities Management
Facilities Management goal is to provide safe, reliable, and clean spaces through maintenance, operation, planning, and renovation services. FM supports the UC Sustainability Practices Policy.
Environmental Health & Safety
EHS provides reliable, innovative, and proactive services to integrate safety into the culture of UCI. The result is a safe and healthy environment with appropriate compliance, protection of assets, and efficient execution of business processes. EHS upholds the UC Sustainability Practices Policy.
Office of Information Technology
OIT is responsible for supporting gate IT needs of UCI and provides information technology leadership, services, and innovative solutions to promote the research, education, and community service goals of UCI. OIT supports the UC Sustainability Practices Policy.
Student Housing
Student Housing strives to integrate sustainability into business practices and education programming to foster healthy environments, social justice, and economic vitality.
Design & Construction Services
DCS supports UCI through the design and construction of new and renovated facilities. DCS is a group of dedicated architects, engineers, project managers, inspectors, contract administrators, and support staff responsible for the implementation and management of the campus capital program.
UCI Dining
UCI Dining works to continually develop and implement sustainable solutions within dining and catering operations. UCI Dining supports the UC Sustainability Practices Policy.

Sustainability Resource Center
The Sustainability Resource Center (SRC) is a central location for students, staff, faculty, and community members to get connected to sustainability at UCI and the surrounding region.
Environmental Collaboratory
The Environmental Collaboratory is a partnership between the UCI Center for Environmental Biology, UCI Nature, and UCI Masters in Conservation & Restoration Science. The partnership is an engagement lever for faculty and staff to engage community partners in research, education, and other opportunities.
Student Wellness & Health Promotion
Student Wellness & Health Promotion supports the wellbeing and academic success of UCI students through various programs, events, services, and advocacy. This office led the charge for UCI to be an inaugural campus to adopt the Okanagan Charter
Office of Civic Engagement
Civic Engagement provides students with opportunities to engage as citizens and community members in a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities that enhance their education and professional development. This includes the Civic and Community Engagement minor, UCDC Internship Program, and more.
Center for Global Leadership
CGL strives to build leaders with a sustainable global vision through the Paul Merage School of Business.
Center for Educational Partnerships
The Center for Educational Partnerships in the School of Education focuses on building bridges between PK-12 education and UCI faculty, staff, and students. This is to promote the exchange of ideas, leverages resources, and drives collective action.
UCI Science Project
The UCI Science Project is grounded in research-based educational practices and understands the paradigm shifts needed for the Next Generation Science Standards. Goal is to support educators as transformative leaders who build capacity in their schools through empowering learning experiences.
Strategic Communications & Public Affairs
Strategic Communications & Public Affairs collaborates across the campus and health system to advance UCI’s reach. This unit assists with the promotion and connection of sustainability research, operations, and engagement to local, regional, and national audiences.
CSU-UC Environmental and Climate Change Literacy Projects (ECCLPs)
ECCLPs is a CSU-UC initiative with leadership from UCI to advance PK-12 climate and environmental literacy, justice and action through an innovative partnership. There is also a regional hub at UCI to connect with the Orange County educators and community partners.-
Community Resilience
Community Resilience brings together teams of faculty, students, staff, and community collaborators to address environmental, health, and social justice challenges by fostering community-driven and equity-focused solutions. Community Resilience is UCI-based but supports many UC campuses.
College Corps
UCI is one of 45 campuses participating in the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps program focusing on providing students opportunities to engage in climate action and food insecurity work while gaining financial assistance.
Basic Needs Center
UCI Basic Needs Center offers a variety of services to UCI students to help them meet their basic needs. This includes CalFresh application assistance, food resources, and housing resources.

Campuswide Honors Collegium
Campuswide Honors Collegium is a community of motivated learners dedicated to scholastic excellence and personal growth that is supported by the resources of a major research university. CHC students are able to engage the Sustainable Societies honors curricular track.

This department hosts a graduate program in Public Health with a focus on Sociocultural Diversity and Health.
Department of Urban Planning and Public Policy

Environmental Law Clinic
The Environmental Law Clinic provides students with the opportunity to work on important and challenging matters involving the protection and enhancement of the environment and human health.
Reproductive Justice Clinic
The Reproductive Justice Clinic promotes the reproductive health and rights of women and girls locally, nationally, and internationally through education, research, and legal advocacy.
Workers, Law, and Organizing Clinic
This clinic works on low-wage worker organizing across communities in Southern California and under-enforced state employment law to create opportunities for lawyers working in alliance with organizers.
Global Sustainability Minor
Department of Economics
Economics hosts a graduate program in Economics with a Concentration in Transportation Economics.
