The webinar will focus on NRDC’s work on the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law particularly around lead service line replacement, drinking water in California, and touch on NRDC’s drinking water work in Michigan and Illinois. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is a once in a generation investment into our country’s infrastructure and an opportunity to help states finance lead service line replacement. Contaminated drinking water disproportionately impacts low-income communities and communities of color and so the equitable distribution of these federal funds will be paramount to ensuring that the health and safety of these communities are prioritized.
